The Abdi Family’s Strong Attachment and Appreciation for Busamed

This letter is my way of telling you how much we appreciate the kindness you’ve always shown my family. I had the opportunity to witness first-hand dedication and commitment of your hospital to providing the best treatment and services for your patients. For the past eight years, my father has on going treatment for prostate, he always says Durban, Durban another way of raving Busamed Hillcrest Private Hospital. Trust me my Dad is 88yrs old, up to now after 8++, he calls Busamed, Durban or Dr. Mackenzie, that’s how identifies Busamed. But we love him

For the excellent care they provided for my father, Dr. Ter Haar, Dr. Mackenzie, and Graham have my sincere gratitude. Dr. Ter Haar recently replaced his hip, and everything went very well. His gallbladder surgery was recommended by his new family doctor, Dr. Graham, and thanks to Dr. Wessel’s exceptional surgical skills, he is recovering well and the like.., not mention Dr. Sanjay Maharaj, his cardiologist. As you can see we are everywhere in your Hospital. My Mum also had some few procedures, seeing Dr. Dr Grundlingh.

Despite the long drive daily during our visits, from Durban CBD, which we always enjoy, I want to express my gratitude to the accounts department for their generosity toward my family. Despite the hospital being expensive, the value of the care and consideration my father received was unmatched, and the medical staff has been a blessing to our family.

I am filled with eternal gratitude towards your hospital for the life-saving care I received in 2018. Though I had a minor illness in Uganda, subsequently with wrong diagnosis, it wasn’t until my father had a timely checkup with Dr. Mackenzie, I tugged along to have it checked and in that I discovered the severity of my condition. The accurate and prompt diagnosis of stage 3 pancreatic cancer at Busamed Hillcrest Private Hospital was a life-changing moment for me. I was immediately dispatch back to Canada for further checkup and subsequently I owe my successful Whipple surgery in Canada to the hard work of the medical staff at Busamed ( I can’t really remember his name or the Doctor, am sure you have a record of it somewhere) who identified the issue. It has been 5 years now, and I am still in remission, and going. I understand that if it weren’t for the excellent diagnosis I received in Busamed, I might not be alive today. The hospital truly saved my life, and I cannot express my gratitude enough. Go Go Busamed!

Finally, I must say that I am very impressed with Busamed Hillcrest Private Hospital’s cutting-edge amenities, welcoming staff, and excellent care. I am confident that anyone in need of medical attention will concur with my evaluation of the facility, and I would like to offer my highest recommendation. One more time, I want to thank you for everything you have done for my family and I.

P.S. Apparently we are visiting sometime in June, 2023 for My Dad’s Hip Checkup and Eye Surgery.
