Dr Gogo obtained her MBChB at the University of Cape Town in 2000.
She then did her internship and community service at St. George Mukhari hospital until December 2003.
She further worked in the United Kingdom for the Nuffield Group Hospitals both in London and Liverpool until 2005.
She trained as a Specialist Physician in 2006 and graduated in 2009, after which she worked as a Specialist Physician in Life Health Care Hospitals – Brenthurst and Carstenhof until she took a post as a Cardiology Fellow at the Witwatersrand University at Baragwanath until 2020.
She is currently registered as a cardiologist with the HPCSA since September 2021.
