Dr Yandisa Nxakama – specialist Neurosurgeon, completed his undergraduate degree MBChB at Walter Sisulu university Mthatha.
In 2013 he went to do an internship at Chris Hani Baragwanath hospital Johannesburg, completed community service at Victoria Hospital Alice in 2015.
He later worked as medical officer in Neurosurgery at Nelson Mandela Academic Hospital Mthatha and Frere Hospital East London before joining Inkosi Albert Luthuli central hospital in Durban as a registrar in 2018.
He qualified as a Neurosurgeon in 2022, and further completed his MMED at the University of KwaZulu Natal in 2023.
He is a passionate, meticulous and hard-working neurosurgeon who specialises in the treatment of brain and spine conditions for both adults and children.
