About Dr Zondi:
Dr Zondi completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Witwatersrand in 2005 and specialised in Ophthalmology at the prestigious University of Cape Town (UCT), earning his degree in ophthalmology and membership into the College of Medicine of South Africa.
He further received his Master of Medicine degree in 2015, after which he worked at St John’s Eye Hospital in Chris Hani Baragwanath Hospital.
He further specialised in surgical retina and corneal diseases. Adding to his qualification list, he completed a diploma in Psychiatry.
He likes reading, writing, music and hiking. He loves spending time with his family and enjoys nature. He is a people’s person and goes the extra mile to ensure that his patients are well taken care of and provided with quality eyecare.
Dr Zondi is a comprehensive, experience and highly competent eye surgeon, with special interest in Cornea and Retina Surgery. He also does general Ophthalmology and currently does sessional practice at Busamed Harrismith Private Hospital.
