Busamed Harrismith Private Hospital is proud to announce our support for Lorenzo Moloi (20); a student at Harrismith High School and a promising participant in the Dumbe Trial Run Tournament, taking place on 11 March 2022.
The unplanned move from Lorenzo’s hometown Welkom to Harrismith a few months ago was due to unfortunate circumstances. After flood damage to their house, Ms Moipone Lina Moloi (Grandmother of Lorenzo, 68) found the family a place to live in Harrismith. Even though the transition was challenging and somewhat daunting, his love for running remained the same.
“I love running and I enjoy running. I literally have no passion for anything else but running and I want to succeed with it,” advised Lorenzo. The young and aspiring runner wants to see himself running at an international level, representing South Africa.
“I am ready for this tournament; I have been practicing and getting a sponsor has really made the dream come true as I have been searching for a while.”
Winning would mean more to him as it will be a form of self-validation, and a firm start to his future and dreams.
Busamed Harrismith Private Hospital is really proud to be supporting this promising young athlete and we will be cheering him on. Wishing you well Lorenzo!
