The young aspiring marathon athlete, Lorenzo Moloi, participated in the Drakensberg Marathon, this past Saturday, 26 November 2022.
He participated in the 10km race with extreme competitors. Lorenzo came in 12th position out of 220 runners, with a record time of 00:35:03 and 00:03:30 pace per km, placing him in the top 20.
Achieving this position has given him an opportunity to improve his preparedness to train for next year’s Cross-Country event.
The hospital is excited and proud to be part of Lorenzo’s journey and wishes him nothing but the best. We do hope that his dreams come true.
