Dr Al-Naili commenced his studies into medicine at Garyounis University Faculty of Medicine in Libya and graduated in 2008, where he further obtained a master’s degree in diagnostic radiology in 2010.
Dr Al-Naili went on to complete 4 years training in internal Medicine at Tygerberg hospital, Stellenbosch University and qualified as a specialist physician (FCPSA) and further completed his MMed project.
He qualified as a consultant Cardiologist in December 2021 after completing 3 years of training in adult cardiology and intervention at Groote Schuur hospital, University of Cape Town.
His main interest is structural and interventional cardiology including complex PCI, TAVI, CTO and device therapy.
Dr Al-Naili worked at Groote Schuur Hospital for more than 18 months and is passionate about teaching, patient care and a holistic approach in managing cardiovascular disease. His is fully equipped in imaging and will offer all imaging facilities including stress echocardiogram and strain imaging.
One of his strengths is excellent procedural techniques with a deep understanding of all interventional tools needed to complete a case, keeping the risk of complications as low as it can be.
Taking his clinical skills and linking them with imaging and procedural finding’s makes diagnosis and management of cardiovascular disease a joyful experience with excellent patient outcomes.
