Dr Phumla Mbele graduated from the university of Free State. She completed her Diploma in primary emergency care (DiPPEC) Colleges of Medicine of South Africa (CMSA – 2019). She completed Fellowship of Collages of Emergency Medicine (FCEM) Collage of Medicine of South Africa (CMSA – Sept 2023). She was awarded the Medal recipient with the Resuscitation Council of Southern Africa 2023 (for obtaining the best result in practical component in the fellowship examination of the College of Emergency of South Africa in 2023). She has completed an Ultrasound course instructor for EMSSA. She presented at the Neurological Association of South Africa congress in 2022. Dr Mbele has a keen interest in teaching and research, and is part of NorthStar Emergency Physicians.
