I am a specialist cardiologist with over 18 years of experience spanning Internal Medicine and Cardiology, with clinical practice across several major hospitals in KwaZulu-Natal. During nine years at Inkosi Albert Luthuli Central Hospital, I developed extensive expertise in the management of complex cardiac cases and played an active role in multidisciplinary, tertiary-level care.

In addition to clinical practice, I am deeply committed to medical education and academic development. As an Honorary Lecturer at the University of KwaZulu-Natal for ten years, I have taught and mentored medical students, registrars, and cardiology fellows, fostering the next generation of specialists. To ensure ongoing professional growth, I have also participated in numerous local and international cardiology congresses and educational meetings. I also have a strong interest in research and have co-authored a chapter in the European Society of Cardiology Textbook of Cardiovascular Medicine.
