Dr. Trishan Pillay is a Specialist Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon who graduated from the University of the Witwatersrand with his MBBCh degree in 2005. He completed his specialist training in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery in 2014, obtaining both his FC Plast Surg (SA) and MMed (Plastic Surgery) from the University of KwaZulu-Natal.
Dr. Pillay has been in private practice in Ballito for the past 12 years, where he has developed a comprehensive practice encompassing both reconstructive and aesthetic plastic surgery. He has a special interest in aesthetic breast surgery, body contouring, and facial surgery, while also performing a wide range of reconstructive procedures, including skin cancer surgery, hand surgery, and burn reconstruction.
For more than a decade, Dr. Pillay has served as a Craniofacial Surgeon with extensive experience in the management of complex craniofacial conditions. His expertise includes cleft lip and palate surgery, the treatment of major facial fractures and traumatic facial injuries, and the reconstruction of congenital and acquired facial deformities.
Dr. Pillay is committed to providing personalised, compassionate, and patient-centred care, with a focus on restoring both function and appearance and achieving natural, lasting outcomes.
