Dr Jitesh Rajpaul is an experienced Orthopaedic Surgeon with a special interest in hip and knee joint replacement surgery. He completed his MBChB degree in 2007, followed by a fellowship in Orthopaedic Surgery in 2015. As a specialist, he spent 3 years at a dedicated joint replacement unit, further refining his skills in advanced joint replacement techniques. Prior to moving into full-time private practice, Dr Rajpaul served as the Head of Department at a provincial hospital in Durban, where he gained valuable leadership experience and contributed significantly to clinical management and training. He currently practices at Umhlanga Orthopaedic Surgeons alongside Dr Keegan Naidoo and Dr ND Naidoo, who together provide a comprehensive orthopaedic service.
His professional interests include joint replacement surgery, arthroscopic procedures, complex trauma management, and pain control strategies. He is skilled in robotic-assisted knee replacement, utilising advanced technology to enhance surgical precision and patient outcomes. Dr Rajpaul remains committed to delivering patient-focused care by combining his clinical expertise with modern surgical innovations.
