Dr Verushka Reddy is a specialist physician and nephrologist practicing at Busamed Gateway Private Hospital.
She completed her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor Surgery degree (MBChB) at UKZN at the Nelson R Mandela School of Medicine. This was followed by further training to achieve her FCP(SA) and Certificate of Nephrology in 2013.
She continued working in the Department of Nephrology at iNkosi Albert Luthuli Central Hospital till 2017, after which she started private practice at Busamed Gateway Hospital.
Her areas of speciality in nephrology includes diabetes and diabetic nephropathy, hypertension related kidney disease, acute and kidney chronic kidney disease, haemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, and kidney transplant.
In addition, she is part of KZN Kidney Transplant panel and the member of the South African Nephrology Society.
