Dr. Vivian Simmons is a highly skilled and experienced specialist surgeon and gastroenterologist. With over 10 years in private practice, he is known for his expertise in advanced surgical and endoscopic procedures, as well as his compassionate and collaborative approach to patient care.
He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Medicine (2001) and a Master’s Degree in Surgery (2011), complemented by two years of specialised training in surgical gastroenterology at the University of the Free State. His clinical focus includes minimally invasive laparoscopic surgeries, liver resections, Whipple procedures, and novel techniques such as incisionless fundoplication.
