Dr Jessica Wing is qualified as a specialist physician in 2022 and subsequently sub-specialized in medical gastroenterology. She was awarded her certification cum laude in 2025. She trained at Charlotte Maxeke Johannesburg hospital and was afforded the unique and invaluable opportunity to work in the liver transplantation unit of the Wits Donald Gordon medical centre. She is a dedicated, enthusiastic and thorough physician devoted to improving both gastrointestinal and liver health and knowledge among patients. Her special interests lie in the challenging and widening field of contemporary hepatology including the management of patients pre-and-post liver transplantation and those contributing to emerging epidemic of metabolic associated steatotic liver dysfunction. She enjoys collaboration and would be excited to embark on research in the future.
