She holds a Bachelor of Medicine & Surgery (MBChB) and a Master of Medicine specialising in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (MMED) obtained through the University of Cape Town (UCT). She became a fellow of the College of Plastic Surgeons of South Africa (FC Plast Surg) in May 2017. She completed a fellowship of Breast Surgery under the auspices of one of the world’s renowned breast surgeons at the University of Brussels, Belgium (UZB). This increased her skills in performing Oncoplastic, cosmetic and reconstructive Breast Surgery.
She is a consultant Plastic Surgeon working at Inkosi Albert Luthuli hospital (IALCH) since 2019. She is responsible for reconstructive breast surgery at IALCH working in collaboration with the multi-disciplinary team of specialists at the IALCH Breast Centre of Excellence. She is a member of the Association of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons of South Africa (APRASSA).
