He is a director of the first Interventional Neuro Radiology Unit in the public sector in Gauteng which he established in 2010 and now provides this state of the art service in the Private sector. He has vast experience in this field, performing over 200 procedures per annum.
These entail endovascular management of Brain and Spinal conditions such as Intracranial Aneurysms, Brain and Spinal Arterio Venous Malformations (AVMs), Dural Arterio Venous Fistula (DAVFs), Head and Neck Tumour Embolization and Now management of Acute Ischemic Stroke as well as other General Body Vascular Interventions.
Victor has over 20 years experience as a general radiologist and 10 years as a subspecialist, Interventional Neuroradiologist. His professional accomplishments include Chairing the Academic Departments of Radiology at the Sefako Makgato and the Witwatersrand universities as well as heading Clinical Radiology Departments at the Dr George Mukhari, Charlotte Maxeke and Chris Hani Baragwanath Academic Hospitals in the last 14 years.
