Nursing gets a lot of bad press and sometimes deservedly so.
However, my recent experience on Thursday 2 February, my experience of the nursing staff both in the ward and in the scope room was one of caring professionalism. And when I had a bad reaction to the anesthetic and was very dizzy, nauseas and vomiting, the ward staff were kind, caring and helpful, for which I was very grateful.
I hope that my gratitude can be passed on to them. It made a huge difference to my experience.
