Dear Sir/Ma'am

On 07 November 2023 I had to have a lumbar discectomy performed by Dr. A Rugnath at your hospital. I was discharged on 09 November 2023.

I just wanted to let you know that the whole experience was really superb. From admission Staff to Staff in the Ward and Staff in Theatre it was ultra-professional as well as very courteous and friendly.

The nursing was excellent, as attention was paid to every detail. One did not feel, as in some other (private) hospitals, that one had to constantly check that one's care was happening properly! One felt that one was in very good hands and that those dealing with one knew what they were doing and that they were interested in, and committed to, doing things really well.

One of the particularly impressive things was how overnight, after last rounds had been done, it was so quiet, so that it was possible for patients to sleep, so very unlike some other (private) hospitals. Again, one had the impression that the degree of professional care and attention was superb. It was also the case that whenever a 'buzzer' went off requesting attention, within a very short space of time it was attended to, and so very pleasantly, also very unlike some other contexts.

All round it was a very impressive experience.

With people obviously putting in so much effort to get all of this right I only felt it right to pass on high praise where it is due...and grateful thanks from my side for such an experience.
