Thanks to every member of Busamed Hillcrest Private Hospital who made my recent hospitalisation so pleasant.
This thanks includes every single person from the front entrance drop off, throughout my stay to front entrance pick up.
Any hospital admission is daunting, add a Total knee replacement to that fear, well, that was me...terrified.
As I waited to be attended to, a familiar friendly face appeared with her wide beautiful smile (how I wish I could remember names!!) ... I felt my body start to relax, remembering our interactions from my previous stay, the good morning, good night waves, quick chit chats, every question answered and always with a smile.
Then to my new bedroom for the next week...
I saw a "team" at work, orderly staff, each person knowing their duties. Introducing themselves as I was getting admitted , answering any questions I had along with general chit chat getting to know each other. Once I was acquainted with the kitchen, I was at home.
One thing that stood out for me was the short time that bells were left ringing, noise was absolutely minimal.
The friendly and caring night and day Sisters in charge, also familiar from my previous stay, their presence made me feel secure and comforted.
I wish I could mention every person individually but they are a "team" and it shows in their dedication and care. I can only speak for myself and the care shown in the nursing, the food presentation and taste, the cleanliness with friendliness, every duty it take to makes a hospital perform as well as Busamed Hillcrest, I thank you, the staff, for making my stay, at MY hospital, so special.
