Please could you kindly place the below compliment in the patient stories section for Hillcrest: I have just this morning been discharged from Busamed Hillcrest Private Hospital. I was, once again in Surgical 1A, ward 13A.

The standard of the staff in this unit is exceptional. I say this with the ability to compare it to my experience in 2014, which was then exceptional. I attribute this to the fact that the leadership is still the same 9 years later. Sisters May and Zodwa (excuse my spelling Sister) run a tight ship and lead by example. Sister Zodwa was there this morning before 6, yet only comes on duty at 7. These are the types of leaders you have to retain as their teams reflect their style. As a patient that ends up in the same Surgical unit 9 years later and is recognized further supports my case of exceptional service.

What made my day, and this I am sure is pure coincidence, is that I ended up in the exact bed I occupied for 3-4 weeks in 2014.
I have since 2014 said to my wife that if anything ever happens to me that needs hospital treatment get me to Busamed Hillcrest Private Hospital, irrespective of where we are, I promise I'll hold on until we get there. This feeling was again reinforced over the past two days.
