Dr Mohale was born and bred in a township called Phahameng, Bloemfontein. She completed her primary and secondary education at Brebner School.
Knowing exactly what she wanted to study, she began her medical studies in 2006, right after her matriculation, at the University of Free State where she completed her MBcHB in 2010. She completed her internship at Thabong Hospital, Welkom (2011 – 2013), after-which she completed her community service at Thusanong Hospital in Odendaalsrus.
In 2014 – 2016 she became a Medical Officer at Mafube Hospital, St. Ritas Hospital and Polokwane Academic Hospital. She was promoted to Registrar in Internal Medicine from 2016 – 2020. In 2019 she completed her Fellowship at College of Medicine and obtained her Mmed at the University of Free State in 2020.
She loves practicing medicine in general and her special interests are infectious diseases and critical care. She also holds an AHA accredit ACLS certificate. In her private time Kethi enjoys cycling, listening to music and taking care of her plants.
